4.7 from 74 reviews

This refreshing Lavender Lemonade combines the floral notes of dried lavender with the tartness of fresh lemon juice, sweetened to taste and balanced by sparkling water for a light, effervescent beverage perfect for warm days or elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Lavender Infusion

  • 2 teaspoons dried lavender
  • 250 ml boiling water

Lemonade Base

  • 2 teaspoons sweetener (such as sugar, honey, or your preferred sugar substitute)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Finishing Touch

  • 2 cups sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Steep the Lavender: Place 2 teaspoons of dried lavender into a heatproof container and pour 250 ml of boiling water over it. Allow the lavender to steep for about 5 minutes to infuse the water with its floral aroma and flavor.
  2. Strain the Lavender: Strain the lavender infusion through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the lavender buds, leaving you with a clear lavender-infused water.
  3. Mix the Lemonade Base: In a pitcher, combine the lavender-infused water with 2 teaspoons of sweetener and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
  4. Add Sparkling Water: Pour 2 cups of chilled sparkling water into the pitcher and gently stir to combine all ingredients, creating a light and fizzy lavender lemonade.
  5. Serve: Pour the lavender lemonade into glasses over ice if desired. Optionally, garnish with a lemon slice or a sprig of lavender for an elegant touch.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sweetener according to your taste preference.
  • For a stronger lavender flavor, increase the steeping time to 7-10 minutes.
  • This lemonade can be made with still water if you prefer a non-fizzy drink.
  • Serve immediately after adding sparkling water to retain the carbonation.
  • Fresh lemon juice is recommended over bottled for the best flavor.
