Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great!)
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 cups refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings and Garnish

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the monkey bread.
  2. Prepare the biscuit dough pieces: Cut the refrigerated biscuit dough into small bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch chunks each, and set aside.
  3. Mix the chicken and sauce: In a bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken with the Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Assemble the monkey bread: Dip each biscuit dough piece into the Alfredo chicken mixture so they are lightly coated. Layer half of the coated biscuit pieces evenly in a greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and half of the Parmesan cheese over the first layer. Add the remaining coated biscuit pieces on top, then finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake the monkey bread: Place the Bundt pan into the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the biscuit dough is cooked through, golden brown on top, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool and garnish: Remove from the oven and let the monkey bread cool for 5 minutes before carefully inverting it onto a serving plate. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can use homemade Alfredo sauce or a store-bought version depending on your preference and time.
  • If you want extra cheesy layers, feel free to add more mozzarella or Parmesan between biscuit layers.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
  • Make sure to grease your Bundt pan well to prevent sticking and to help the monkey bread release easily.
